This notice covers the portfolio at joeyinsync.com. The controller of personal data processed through this site is Nikolaj Krištof Jochym, acting as a private individual and not as a business — see the imprint. Email is the only contact channel. Section 01Visiting this portfolio

The portfolio has no account registration, contact forms, checkout, advertising trackers or visitor analytics added by Joey. Its own code does not set cookies or use browser storage to track you.

GitHub Pages hosts the website. GitHub logs visitor IP addresses for security. Requests to deliver pages and assets also involve technical information such as browser/request details. See GitHub's privacy statement for its processing and retention practices.

Typefaces, stylesheets, scripts and animation libraries are all served from this website itself rather than from Google Fonts or any third-party CDN, so loading a page makes no request to another company on your behalf.

Section 02When you get in touch

If you email Joey, the information you choose to send—such as your email address, name, message and attachments—is processed to read and respond to your enquiry. Gmail provides the email service. Please share only information relevant to your enquiry, and avoid sending passwords or sensitive personal information.

Responding to general enquiries relies on the legitimate interest in communicating with people who contact Joey. Where an enquiry concerns entering a contract with you, necessary processing may instead be based on taking steps at your request before a contract. Information needed to comply with a legal obligation is processed on that basis.

Enquiry information is needed for handling the enquiry and any resulting relationship. Any further retention depends on outstanding follow-up, applicable legal recordkeeping duties or the need to establish or defend legal claims. You can ask about the information held about your enquiry and request deletion where applicable.

Section 03Portfolio references

Client-provided testimonials, display names and profile pictures are published on the basis of consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. A record of each consent is kept so that it can be demonstrated under Article 7(1). Consent can be withdrawn at any time, with no effect on processing carried out before withdrawal: write to the contact email above and the testimonial is removed.

Section 04External services

LinkedIn, Fiverr, Upwork, Calendly and other external destinations are links, not embedded widgets. Following a link takes you to a separate service whose privacy terms apply. Messages sent through those services are handled within their respective platforms. This notice does not cover another firm's invoicing or contracting activities.

Hosting and communication providers may process information outside the European Economic Area. Their privacy notices explain the locations and safeguards they use, including applicable transfer mechanisms. Contact Joey for questions about providers involved in your enquiry.

Section 05Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal data, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing. You may also complain to the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic or your local data protection authority.
